When the Liquid Force R&D team set out to design the HiFi Comp, their goal was to create the ultimate high performance freestyle weapon for the advanced and competition rider. Pushing the limits in all directions to maximize all aspects of the performance output of the kite, Liquid Force succeeded in creating a 5th line hybrid kite with performance unlike any other kite on the market.

For 2010 Liquid Force have merged the HiFi and HiFi Comp to create a well rounded and refined competition/freestyle/wakestyle kite with the super direct feel of a C kite combined with the depower and relaunch benefits of an SLE Kite such as the Havoc. The Liquid Force HiFi Comp features multiple line attachment points allowing riders to choose if they want more or less bar pressure and to choose if they want a super fast, medium, or slow turning kite - giving the experienced rider the ultimate choice of customizing the Liquid Force HiFi Comp to suit their exact style.

The Liquid Force HiFi Comp features the newly designed USB 2.0 5th Line Bridle setup, allowing a significantly slimmer leading edge, a rigid and stable frame and a more powerful and efficient profile. Consequently, the Liquid Force HiFi Comp one of the most direct and responsive kites out there giving the rider fingertip control of every movement of the kite. The exact steering of the HiFi Comp combined with its mind blowing acceleration allows for insane mega-loops in overpowered conditions, without the kite ever letting you down while pushing your limits.

• 5 Strut C Kite Structure: The HiFi Comp is built on a 5 strut structure with a C kite shape. This structure offers a proven platform for constant pull and pop with unrivalled performance for freestyle kiteloops and wakestyle manoeuvres.
• 5th Line Hybrid Design: The HiFi Comp uses a 5th line adaptation of the new 2010 Liquid Force CPR (Centre Line Push Release) Control System. This gives a true direct feel for controlling the arc of the kite even when depowered and allows the Liquid Force HiFi Comp to roll and relaunch like a bridled SLE kite rather than pulling in the 5th line.
• USB 2.0 5th line Bridal: The unique bridal configuration preserves a constant feel and direct pull of the kite even when depowered and makes lightwind relaunch effortless and 100% depower a reality.
• Union Single Point Inflation System: allows the entire kite to be inflated from one nozzle. A one way inflation valve allows for even easier inflation without having to pinch the valve to close.

Liquid Force CPR Control Bar System...

For 2010 Liquid Force introduces a brand new kite control system designed around the revolutionary Centre Line Push Release safety system - the CPR. The CPR system allows instant and effortless safety release of the kite with either hand from the front or back of the bar, to either the 100% depower flag out line or the 90& depower main leash option. While the primary focus for the new CPR system is safety, the entire bar has been redesigned and improved.

• 100% Depower Flag Line: The Liquid Force CPR Control System has a 100% depower flag line leash attachment option. When hooked to the flag line and the bar or CPR are released, the kite will completely depower with the riders leash attached to the flag line. This will leave them connected to only one front line, completely depowering the kite.
• 90% Depower Option: To utilize the 90% depower leash attachment setting, attach your leash to the end of the mainline. This set-up will allow the rider to safely and repeatedly depower and disable their kite while still allowing the rider to relaunch and ride again very quickly.
• Below the bar depower cleat: The power adjustment mainline runs through a 3d Moulded cleat, moulded into the CPR Chicken Loop. This allows effortless adjustment of the mainline and an extreme amount of de-power, always within reach below the bar.
• Centre Line Push Release: The CPR Release is designed for ultimate safety and simplicity, allowing a rider to release the kite with either hand, from the front or back of the bar, always the same, either side, and at any time!
• Non Mechanical 100% Moulded QR Design: The Liquid Force CPR is unique in that it has NO MECHANICAL or METAL Parts. Each of the quick release parts are moulded plastic and will not rust, seize or corrode and will always function properly in sand, salt, heat or snow.
• Quick Click CPR Release Reset: The CPR Release is designed to be just as easy and reliable to reset as to release, even from the water. The CPR resets simply by snapping the chicken loop onto the mainline and then pulling the red release piece down until it clicks. Done!
• Colour Coded 3d Moulded Eva Grip: More comfortable than ever with bold colour coded grip. This bar grip is very easy to see the right/left sides of the bar while flying and even when getting tumbled underwater. You always know which end of the bar to grab.
• Auto Indexed Chicken Loop: This allows a stiff and constant alignment of the chicken loop to the bar when unhooking/hooking back in. The chicken loop does not flop around and is always aligned correctly with the bar. No need to look to unhook or re-hook!
