The HQ Scout Power Kite is an entry level 4 line kite designed specifically for flying on a control bar. It is the ideal kite boarding trainer kite if you want to get involved with kite board sports such as kite landboarding (using a mountain board), kite surfing or snow kiting.

Extremely stable in the air and with easy handling, the HQ Scout Power Kite is supplied with a very effective safety system; the power can be released in an instant by letting go of the bar, causing the kite to fall from the sky whilst still connected to the safety wrist leash. Control bar power kites are more suitable for kite boards sports, are very simple to use and offer increased stability with even power distribution across both arms.

The brand new X-Over Control Bar System differs from a regular control bar since the power kite brake lines run through pulleys. This creates a neat cross-bridling system that automatically applies brake line pressure when steering the power kite, significantly increasing the turning rate. A faster kite will generate more power and the increased responsiveness will make it more involving and fun to fly, helping to accelerate the learning curve dramatically. With the X-Over Control Bar, the HQ Scout Power Kite allows beginners to progress further, faster and safer, and still delivers more than enough performance to keep intermediate flyers content.
