The Slingshot Pit is an ideal kite surfboard for those looking to ride river or ocean swell in nuking conditions, letting it all hang on the line. The tri fin configuration also allows for snappy turns and solid drive. And the mini tuttle fin box provides super structure when reefs or shoreline crop up. Its is for the more extreme of conditions. The Tri Fin setup makes it very snappy and quick on the turn, which will give maximum control when its totally nuking. A narrower quicker board, that boasts high performance, for a rider who wants to grab a session by the scruff of the neck.

Slingshots Wood Veneer sandwich construction is made up a very technically advanced layer construction. Older style wave boards use a cheaper standard epoxy resin with polyester. As a result they offer huge advantages in strength durability and also reduce environmental impact by avoiding the highly toxic polyester resin.

They start with a light weight core, and build around it with a layer of light weight fibre glass. This is then bonded to the more dense wood layer.

The final stage of the construction process is when the superior epoxy resin in bonded. Slingshot use vacuum bagging techniques to maximise bonding.

The result is the proven lighter, stronger sandwich construction.
